I'll just say it for my co-writer here at The Checkdown.  He told you so.

On tonight's Sportscenter, during the Dallas Mavericks/Phoenix Suns highlight package, they showcased the Twitter posts Lisa Salters made throughout the course of the game.

If you read our "Post Game" section following Anthony May's "A tweet escape" article, Isaiah May threw out the idea that sideline reporters would make the most sense in adopting the social networking phenomenon to their profession.  And so they have...and Sportscenter is naturally plugging the heck out of it to show how hip they are.

Aside from connection issues and apparent slips in unbiased reporting ("jason richardson told me he thinks there is more pressure on dallas to win this game than on the suns. you buying that?"), it makes for interesting fodder.  She even solicited questions to ask throughout the broadcast from other twitter-ites.
