NBA 2K fans to vote for which Kobe graces cover
Is it just me, or is Kobe Bryant everywhere?
Aside from the Lakers' quest for a 15th NBA Championship, Kobe's been on
Sesame Street, 'did work' in a
Spike Lee joint, been
puppet-ized for Nike and was the subject of a Lil' Wayne
tribute jam. And while he may have lost his place on
Mickael Pietrus' feet, Kobe has been named as the cover athlete for 2K Sports NBA 2K10.
The announcement came out of gaming's E3 expo last week, along with the news that fans would be given the chance to vote on which Kobelicious photo would appear on the game. Voting opened up on Friday and will continue through June 15 with four different cover options, including a Photoshopped version of Kobe in a #17 New York Knicks jersey (

Judging by the way Internet-lovin' America can't resist PWNing anyone who puts on a large-scale net poll, I'm guessing we see Kobe as a Knick when the game's released in October. I'm talking about the same pranksters that
Rickrolled Shea Stadium and gave
Nebraska boring license plates... I don't think getting Kobe into the blue-and-orange will be too tall an order.
