Really, Charles Rogers? You're the first guy in the history of the world to go to rehab for marijuana (cue Bob Saget's character from Half Baked), then, the week that you're talking comeback, you're found all "Frank Solich" - slumped over your steering wheel in a parked car and get a DUI. Mike Tyson has had better comeback attempts... I don't necessarily blame you though, nor do I blame the weed. My life would be wrecked too, if Matt Millen had played an influential role in it... look for Herm Edwards, Mike Ditka, and Ron Jaworski to begin engaging in destructive behavior any time now.

...speaking of Matt Millen. Matt, are you in the "John Madden Broadcaster Development Program?" Holy sh*t, Matt, we know that after the ball is thrown, that it's trajectory will eventually bring it down. You're not exactly analyzing a play with comments like that, you're just telling the listener the basics of gravity.

The Pats are a Leodis-McKelvin fumble away from being 0-2. Is Tom "My Man-Crush" Brady a little gun-shy after missing an entire season?... or are the Pats missing that McDaniels kid that went to Denver to call plays?

...speaking of Denver: Nothing like a 3-4 defense to resurrect the career of an undersized defensive end, huh, Elvis Dummerville? Elvis was about to be run out of town, but had 4 sacks on Sunday from his new, stand-up position.

In Blacksburg, Virginia, Nebraska punter Zach Henery became the first player that any of us can think of to punt on 4th and goal. With a first and goal on the Virginia Tech six yard line, the Cornhusker offense rattled off two holding calls and two false starts to leave them with a 4th and goal... from the Virginia Tech 36 yard line.

The Huskers managed to overcome that ineptitude for the majority of the ball game, until a coverage blunder led to an 80-yard Tech gain that set up the game-winning score.  While the Husker faithful in Lincoln may feel that they've got the man for the job in Bo Pelini, the display this week was a little disconcerting, as the were heavily penalized, burned time outs at inopportune times and blew assignments in critical situations; In my opinion, three signs of a poorly-coached team.

I don't see too well. Is that Sean McDonough or Scott Hamilton?

Chad Ochocinco, you're a brave man... sort of. You made good on your promise to do a Lambeau Leap after scoring a touchdown Sunday in Green Bay... good thing you found the only two Bengals fans in the crowd.

My vote for "Best play of the Weekend:" Ray Lewis doing his best Ron Burgundy impression and telling San Diego to "go 'F' themselves," when he flew through the Charger line on a 4th and 2 to crush Darren Sproles - along with any of San Diego's hopes of winning. I seriously think he heard Phil Rivers call the play in the huddle. Watch:

Just throwin' it out there, but how absolutely schweet would Cal-Miami National Championship game be? Heisman contenders Cal RB Jahvid Best and Jacory Harris, the quarterback for "The U," are two of the most exciting players in the game. I'll do a self imposed "not so fast my friend," in honor of my man, Lee Corso, and remind us all that Cal still has games against Oregon and USC and the 'Canes have contests against Virginia Tech and Oklahoma.
