Eagles fly to top of NFC East in Week 9
Texas-sized upset; Houston hands Indy first lossHouston at Indianapolis (1 p.m. EST - Sunday - CBS)Commentators: Kevin Harlan, Solomon Wilcots
I only pick this game because it'll be the Colts first loss this season. They didn't look very good against the 49ers at home and now face a Houston team that is being built up as the "biggest game in Texans history." It'll be tough for Peyton's merry men to match that intensity, especially coming off the news that they've lost Bob Sanders for the rest of the season.
Philly beats Dallas, takes hold of NFC East leadDallas at Philadelphia (8:20 p.m. EST - Sunday - NBC) Commentators: Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth
The focus of this game will be on the division with the winner earning sole possession (for a week anyway). Michaels will surely discuss Brian Westbrook returning from a concussion and what the NFL is going to do to better protect players.
Collinsworth will want to narrow the focus to how both Donovan McNabb and Tony Romo are playing for the respective teams. I don't remember the last time Romo delivered a clutch performance on the road. Lots of points will be scored, but Dallas won't keep the pace.
Broncos end Steelers' 4-game winning streakPittsburgh at Denver (8:30 p.m. EST - Monday - ESPN)Commentators: Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski, Jon Gruden
The focus will be on the defenses, with the commentating team having the responsibility of introducing a lot of Denver's defensive playmakers to a national audience. Should be a low-scoring game and I'll give the edge to the Broncos, who, playing at home, are eager to prove themselves after getting smacked in the face by the Ravens last week.
